Rainbow Signs is a Sioux Falls, South Dakota-based sign company that opened on April 1, 1980. We began as a banner-only sign company at a time when most signs were still hand painted. Over the last 40-plus years, we have expanded our product lines to thousands of products and customers.

We specialize in two things: custom signs and customer service. All of our sign products are produced as custom products. We are the perfect solution to fulfill your business sign needs, uniquely qualified to specialize in the things the neon and billboard sign companies and franchise sign companies do as their side lines. And we do it on time.

The usual process begins with a phone call or an email. We listen to what you need and advise you on how to proceed. We talk about if you have artwork provided by your company or if you need help with your artwork. We discuss your goals and timeline. We talk about material choices. We figure out what you’re trying to accomplish and the content of the sign. During the next few days, we do a proof for you. Sometimes we need to come see the space you’re talking about or have you drive your vehicle over so we can measure it. We’ll probably take pictures. Then we figure out the cost. If you approve of the cost and the proofs, we start fabrication.
